Dennis Chen is the founding attorney of ChenLaw and has been practicing law in Florida since 1997.  He has represented hundreds of people and companies in various legal matters throughout Central Florida.  His litigation experience includes the areas of personal injury, workers compensation, real estate (Foreclosure defense, fraud & deceptive trade practices, partition, and quiet title among others), and insurance litigation.  He has represented clients in matters before judges in the following Florida counties: Alachua, Brevard, Broward, Duval, Hillsborough, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Palm Beach, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Seminole, and Volusia.

After years of experience in the areas of personal injury and workers' compensation litigation, Dennis began learning real estate law by attending numerous seminars and taking small real estate matters.  His experience developed to the point that his practice now includes a heavy focus on the area of real estate.  Because of Dennis' background representing injury victims, he is able to take some real estate litigation cases on a contingency basis.  Call the office to determine if your matter qualifies for contingent fee representation.

Dennis is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts, all Texas State Courts, before the U.S. District Court of the Middle District of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, and the U.S. Court of Appeal for the Eleventh Circuit.  He is a member of The Florida Bar, State Bar of Texas, American Bar Association, and Caribbean Bar Association.   He is also a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Persian Gulf during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm.

He is an Elder at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church and has served on the Board of Directors for Bread of Life Fellowship, Inc, a non-profit Christian ministry. He lives in Winter Garden with his wife and two children.

All attorneys with this firm are admitted to practice in the state courts in Florida.
